Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in UAE: Q3 2025

The third quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends for travel and local apps on the Android platform in the United Arab Emirates. According to data from Sensor Tower, these top apps demonstrated varying patterns in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker experienced a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $1.9K and ending the quarter at $938. Its downloads fluctuated, peaking at 2.6K in early July, while active users decreased from 83K to 31.4K by the end of September.

Wallet Cards | Digital Wallet showed a mixed performance. Weekly downloads reached a high of 470 in early September, while revenue peaked at $658 in mid-August. Active users saw an increase, reaching 709 in early September before declining to 484 by the quarter's end.

The Couchsurfing Travel App maintained steady revenue, with a slight peak at $170 mid-September. Downloads remained low, fluctuating slightly around 40 to 70, and active users decreased from 285 to 236 over the quarter.

Find my Phone - Family Locator showed a positive trend in downloads, reaching a peak of 585 in mid-September, while revenue increased to $154 by the end of the quarter. Active users also grew, peaking at 489 in mid-September.

Lastly, Travelfriend experienced a decline in downloads, reaching zero by mid-August, while revenue fluctuated, peaking at $127 mid-August.
